Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at UF is largely skewed towards women students, with 56.3% of undergraduate students being women and 43.7% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 34,876, with 19,636 women and 15,240 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 50.9% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 17,725 students.
Following behind are Hispanic students, constituting 24.1% of the student body, with 8,389 students. Asian students represent 10.1% of the population, with 3,529 students, while African American students account for 5.2%, with 1,824 students. Mixed race students account for 4.7% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 1,640 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 19 students.
