Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at UDub is largely skewed towards women students, with 56.7% of undergraduate students being women and 43.3% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 36,201, with 20,514 women and 15,687 men.
On the other hand, the graduate student population at UDub is largely skewed towards women students, with 57.3% of undergraduate students being women and 42.7% being men. The total number of full-time, graduate students is 16,233, with 9,294 women and 6,939 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 32.2% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 11,633 students.
Following closely behind are Asian students, constituting 24.3% of the student body, with 8,756 students. Hispanic students represent 8.5% of the population, with 3,058 students, while Mixed race students account for 6.8%, with 2,454 students. African American students account for 3.1% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 1,134 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.3% , with 125 students.
International students make up 12.2% of the undergraduate population, totaling 4,410 students.
