Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at CUW is largely skewed towards women students, with 61.7% of undergraduate students being women and 38.3% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 2,914, with 1,797 women and 1,117 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 72.7% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 2,110 students.
Following behind are African American students, constituting 8.6% of the student body, with 249 students. Hispanic students represent 6.8% of the population, with 196 students, while Mixed race students account for 2.8%, with 80 students. Asian students account for 1.9% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 54 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 3 students.
