Catawba Valley Community College

Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at CVCC is largely skewed towards women students, with 57.9% of undergraduate students being women and 42.1% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 4,168, with 2,414 women and 1,754 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 66.6% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 2,768 students.

Following behind are Hispanic students, constituting 14.9% of the student body, with 620 students. Asian students represent 6.9% of the population, with 285 students, while African American students account for 5.4%, with 224 students. Mixed race students account for 3.3% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 136 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 6 students.

International students make up 1.2% of the undergraduate population, totaling 50 students.
