The largest ethnic group among the students is Hispanic, comprising 29.1% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 2,694 students.
Following closely behind are African American students, constituting 24.2% of the student body, with 2,242 students. White students represent 18.6% of the population, with 1,721 students, while Asian students account for 10.2%, with 944 students. Mixed race students account for 0.5% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 49 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 7 students.
International students make up 4.7% of the undergraduate population, totaling 433 students.
